Axel Vervoordt Gallery Kanaal — Art by Step & Silo

Kanaal is a former distillery and malting complex in Wijnegem that has been transformed into a mixed residential, commercial, and cultural site. Its industrial architecture now accommodates living and working spaces, gardens, public areas, and permanent art installations associated with the Axel & May Vervoordt Foundation.

I work at Kanaal for Art by Step and Silo. Through Art by Step, I contribute to guided experiences that connect visitors with art, architecture, and the cultural life of the site. Art by Step develops artistic routes and activities that make contemporary art and gallery culture more accessible. I guide guests during events organised by Silo, a restaurant at Kanaal that brings together refined dining, curated music, art, antiques, and atmosphere.
